Three new design achievements at the iF Design Awards
We couldn’t be happier to announce that three of our products have been recognized for their “design achievement” by the iF Design Awards. The selected products have been A+S Work manufactured by Actiu and Esitt and Lin, both created in collaboration with Inclass.
The jury recognized the creativity and efficiency of the three products by virtue of their level of excellence in five criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation and social and environmental impact.
We are very honored to see our products achieve this international recognition. We have been working for more than twenty years with dozens of Spanish and international companies. And that knowledge and experience in different sectors, countries and cultures has enriched our work as designers.
Innovation, efficiency, sustainability and the well-being of people are our priorities. And we work with companies to achieve the best possible result.
A+S Work, that recently received a German Design Award, meets the highest ergonomic demands in workspaces, with the aim of taking care of people’s health and bringing them comfort in their everyday life.
It is also the first chair of Actiu’s new technological platform for office chairs. After nearly twenty years collaborating with Actiu, Alegre Design has designed A+S Work, a chair that stands out for its simplicity of use and the optimization of resources. The chair flows out of the synchronization system into the backrest, which improved the users’ lumbar and dorsal support.
The seat has been built as a thin sheet of voluptuous shapes that makes any sitting position comfortable. Each component of the chair can be disassembled and repaired, to extend the product’s life cycle.
Lin and Esitt – both of which have also won a Good Design Award – are the result of the collaboration between Alegre Design and Inclass.
Lin is a modular bench that allows for dynamic, flexible and agile configurations. Its easy-to-maintain geometries prioritize cleanliness and ergonomic comfort. Thanks to its adaptability, Lin’s aluminum structure meets the demand for versatile seating solutions in common and public spaces. It also promotes sustainability with its use of recyclable materials.
On the other hand, Esitt’s office chair has become a breakthrough in professional seating because its design combines innovation, comfort, customization and sustainability. Its unique backrest upholstery system and single-gesture lumbar adjustment create an optimal working experience.
Esitt has an harmonious blend of visual lightness, eco-friendly production and ergonomics. It uses environmentally friendly processes, minimizes material usage, and optimizes the product lifecycle from beginning to end.
