Micro wins an iF Design Award 2025

Precision, adaptability, and minimalism—Micro is a lighting system that redefines how spaces are illuminated. Designed in collaboration with Onok, it has now been recognized with an iF DESIGN AWARD 2025, celebrating its seamless integration of form and function.

With its ultra-compact architecture, Micro creates a discreet yet powerful lighting experience. Every detail is engineered for versatility, offering architects and designers a flexible, scalable solution that blends effortlessly into any environment.

This award acknowledges our commitment to designing with intent—where technology, usability, and sustainability drive every decision. Together with Onok, we have created a system that is not just lighting, but a tool to shape experiences.

From the outset, Micro was conceived as a lighting system that adapts, rather than imposes. “We wanted to create a tool for designers—something that integrates into spaces, rather than competing with them,” explains Marcelo Alegre. Inspired by the simplicity of geometric structures, Micro balances discreet aesthetics with high functionality.

The design process prioritized versatility, modularity, and ease of use. “We focused on intuitive installation and complete freedom of movement. Its 360-degree adjustability allows users to control and personalize lighting effortlessly,” adds Marcelo Alegre.

Sustainability was also a key factor. Micro incorporates durable materials and low-energy LED technology, ensuring long-lasting performance with minimal environmental impact. By integrating circular design principles, the system is built to last and adapt to different spatial needs.
