Noom, a success design story that keeps on giving

The Noom family, designed for Actiu, manufacturer of professional and contract furniture, continues to grow. A new piece has now been added to the wide range of products in this versatile collection: the Noom 60 chair.

With its enveloping monoblock shell and built-in arms, it guarantees a comfortable and ergonomic sitting experience that can be combined with metal or wooden bases, with or without castors.

Noom 60 once again demonstrates the versatility and creativity of the Noom collection, whose first Noom armchair won a European Product Design Award in 2019.

This was a major milestone for Actiu, which was making its way from the professional to the contract sector, and thanks to Noom, its products have found a place in increasingly multi-purpose spaces all over the world.

Based on the same aesthetics and the same production efficiency, the family has continued to add products, finishes and options, thus becoming a design success story that continues to reap its rewards.

According to Actiu’s figures, the whole program generated a revenue in the amount of 7 million euros.

To the Noom armchair, which is is based on a careful study of the pleats and seams of the fabrics used in traditional tailoring, a chair and a stool were added, followed by the Noom 50 chair.

The Noom chair showcases a transversal design with a smooth silhouette produced from high-density polyurethane guarantees durability for continuous use whereas the Noom stool is defined by its structural lightness, together with its comfort and its kind aesthetic.

In 2022, Noom 50 was our response to the need for versatility and customization of very diverse spaces. Its design is based on a svelte framework of smooth lines, that offers multiple combinations. Now, Noom 60 makes this family bigger and better.

Noom is a program that has positioned itself in the market with features that make it stand out, with a modern aesthetic in all its versions. This new family has allowed the company to create spaces with the same design code, regardless of the fact that they also work independently, coexisting with the rest of Actiu’s catalogue. And has opened an additional door into the contract, hospitality and home sectors.
