Aventador recognized with a Good Design Award
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design, has honored Alegre Design by selecting the Aventador chair as a Good Design Award winner in the Furniture Category.
The Aventador marks our second successful collaboration with the Italian manufacturer Quinti, following the award-winning That’s It chair.
With its meticulous design, comfortable shapes, and innovative technical features, the Aventador chair sets a new standard in the executive armchair landscape. Every curve and contour showcases exquisite craftsmanship, ensuring not only an aesthetically pleasing appearance but also a superior seating experience.
The armchair’s standout feature is its aluminum armrests, equipped with an innovative synchronized mechanism. The backrest, crafted from steel and polyurethane in varying densities, complements the armrests’ unique and enveloping sculptural form. This supporting band connects the armrests, offering a choice between white or black painted versions.
Since its inception in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen, Charles, and Ray Eames, the Good Design Awards have become the oldest and most prestigious global program for design excellence.
Designed for use in professional offices, home studies, or any work environment, the Aventador chair not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also focuses on comfort. It allows users to work or sit for extended periods without discomfort, thereby elevating the overall user experience.
