Our Zero system for Emuca receives an ICONIC AWARD 2022

We are vert proud that the constant work dedication and passion shown by our team and by Emuca’s R + D + i department has paid off. Receiving this award from the German Design Council is a motivation for all of us, to continue creating new designs, and striving for greater success.
Zero is a modular space management system that does not require any tools for assembly and that offers endless possibilities in terms of structures and elements. Its flexibility allows it to furnish any space, whether domestic, professional, or commercial.

Whether someone intends placing it in the living room of the home, as in the office, a store or even the dressing room, any of these solutions is possible thanks to its simplicity and design that adapts to all types of environments. With its profile system, there is no need for any tools for assembly. The user will be able to adjust and position the shelves without having to disassemble anything at all.
Furthermore, with Zero the weight would not be a problem because the fastening system that composes it is specially designed to increase its clamping force once the supported weight is increased.

The Emuca Group designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of products for the furniture, carpentry, hardware and DIY sectors. Using a new technology for attaching hardware to a vertical profile made by the company Emuca, we integrated the technical solution into its design and the mechanism that allows this technology to be incorporated into the system’s profiles to create Zero.
With a simple gesture of the hand, the support mechanism can be moved along the profile and is automatically locked into place when weight is placed on top of it.
This new technical solution supports modules, shelves and hanging bars and created a storage tool for everyday activity. Zero is based off a new philosophy for the creation of hardware parts for furniture: the need to use tools is eliminated thanks to the value provided by its industrial design and engineering.
