Inspiring EDEM students with internationalization Masterclass

Alegre Design is an internationalization success story. For over the last two decades we have grown to become a true global design studio, with a highly skilled team of professionals from different nationalities that work for companies from all over the world.

It has been a tough but exhilarating journey that has allowed us to gain in-depth knowledge and meaningful experiences. And we are very proud to share those experiences, once again, with the  Students from the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Enginering and Management at Valencia’s EDEM Business school.

Our CEO, Marcelo Alegre has had the chance to explain what have we done and how have we done it to this year’s students, who were eager to improve their knowledge on business internationalization.

He was one of the honorary speakers of the last year of this BSc, a four-year officially accredited title by the University Polytechnic of Valencia. Around twenty students from Europe and the United States took part in this seminar focused on our studio’s agile international approach which has allowed us to grow globally and gradually with each market and each project.

During a three-hour session, Marcelo Alegre explained how our studio has reached this level of internationalization but, also, how we have helped our clients grow and expand on a global scale. Generating innovation, creating value to the market and, above all, improving people’s well-being and daily lives are the guidelines of each and everyone of our projects.

For more than 16 years, Marcelo Alegre has shared his passion for design and teaching in seminars and courses in different institutions: CEU – Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera in Valencia (Spain), ELISAVA – Escuela Superior de Diseño in Barcelona (Spain) and University Mirail in Toulouse (France).
